Mr Allen had an old run down driveway made up of paving slabs, bits of gravel and earth. He wanted to replace this with a nice new tarmac driveway with block paving around the perimeter. First task was to lift up the old paving slabs and dig out the existing soil and rubble. Once we’d dug down to a suitable depth for the new hardcore, we lay a heavy duty membrane and type one hardcore to give a solid base.
The next job was to install, which were dark to match the tarmac. The edging blocks created a nice clean border around the edge of the drive. Once this was complete, the tarmac was then poured into place and cooled to harden. The entire job took three days to complete from start to finish.
