Ed Paving Ltd recently completed a high-quality SMA tarmac driveway installation in Borrowash. The project began with the full removal of the old driveway and clearance of all rubble from site, ensuring a clean and stable base to build from.

A heavy-duty membrane was installed, followed by a Type 1 MOT hardcore base, compacted thoroughly using a 5 ton ride on roller to provide exceptional strength and durability. Charcoal block paving edgings were set on a full concrete footing, alongside the installation of new drainage systems and manholes for effective water management.

The driveway was finished with SMA tarmac throughout, creating a smooth, hard wearing, and virtually maintenance free surface built to last.
